Re: Killer 71 Stollen
That would call for a major "attitude adjustment" if the thief is ever caught.

Re: Killer 71 Stollen
Any reason you think the crook might have seen your truck on the board? Let us know if you know something because that kind of freaks me out since most of us have posted a bunch of pics too.

Re: Killer 71 Stollen
Sorry to hear about your truck. Hope that it makes it home. Good luck and do not give up. There is nothing like getting your truck stolen. I had a 72 c-20 super bb truck stolen about 4 years ago. I still have not gave up. I carry a copy of all the paperwork with me all the time, just in case i see it.
Good luck Steve

Hey Killer; I know the feeling. My 72 K20 was stolen just 3 months ago. It went to Denver area, but no recovery yet. Best of luck, and hangings too good for them!

Re: Killer 71 Stollen
Darn Killer, As you know I just lost the Suburban, but I'd be more POed if I lost the 68. I couldn't replace it, to much emotional attachment. My condolences.

Which suggests a good reason for another thread........anti-theft ideas for these old trucks.

Re: Killer 71 Stollen
That sucks. I wish you could have gotten your truck back. The mention of maybe someone was watching the site and waited till it was done scares me. My truck isnt anything like anyone elses...and someone tried to steal it. My truck needs everything. So I dont understand why someone would try to steal mine.

Re: Killer 71 Stollen
I do hate thieves and our old trucks are very at risk. No hood lock, hot wire easy. I guess we can slow them down by alarms and maybe locked box for battery connection. Maybe a Rotty in a doghouse in bed? I don't know, but it is worth an A$$ woopin if caught. If it is in your garage attached to house in MO you can shoot them dead.
