Dodge ram seats?
Does anyone know if the dodge ram seats (03-06) fit in our trucks......and if so, what does it take to mount them? I think with custom covers (a down the road option) and the head rests removed, they would look right at home in the interior.

Re: Dodge ram seats?
I can take some measurements for you is you want.........I put 2004 seats in my sons 98 Ram and I had to only sightly modify 2 mounting points per side, and used his original seat tracks instead of the 02-Up tracks.Being that the Ram 2002-Up is fairly wide I bet that if a 2002-Up set is installed in your 67-72 truck that you wont have that gap between the seat and door like some do.
I currently have a 2004 quad cab,had a 2002 quad cab,and my son has a 98 with the 2004 seat set up.

Re: Dodge ram seats?
I bet the Durango seats would fit. They're pretty nice, as well...

Re: Dodge ram seats?
I've often considered this option because these seats are decent (comfort wise) & look proportionally close to the original buddy-bucket set-up. I was going to pull these out of a co-workers truck one day for a test fit but just haven't been able to coordinate the time w/him.

Re: Dodge ram seats?
They are wide(er) than our seats but will fit widt wise. They are a LOT taller and you'll need to cut/lower the mounting but other than that they should work fine, and being I have one as a daily driver, yes they are comfortable and the middle seat/console is very handy!

Re: Dodge ram seats?
I saw somewhere where they used Ram seats, but the center piece from a Dakota.
