Question What did i do wrong

so i finish up with the internal alternator conversion but the truck won`t do any thing. engine won`t crank, lights don`t turn on, nothing. from what i know everything is set up properly. any idea`s

i knew i forgot somthing, curse this blonde hair!!!!!!

na just kiddin, battery hooked up and fully charged, but nothin works.

Nothing in a alt conversion should interfere with starter wiring.

So go put the shifter in PARK and try again. I don't want to talk about how I know this one.

Check and re-check your wiring hook-up. Maybe connected it wrong?

I hate this one, but play with the shifter and see if it is the neutral safety switch.

Neutral safety sw... How true. I banged on an old battery (posts) trying to get some sound out of the starter for some time before I realized the switch was out of adjustment.

However, I don't believe that will keep the lights or horn from working. I may be wrong but if nothing works, then it's got to be something wrong in the battery area. Check fusible link, fuses (small one by the battery), cables, battery posts, battery itself, ground cables.
