Nooooooooo....not a ford!!!!!!! hehe I beat a f-150 the other day but it's no where near a lightning.

But you get a badge for having the balls to run against a lightning but you still have to hold your head down in shame for being beat by a ford...hehe.....just messing with ya man

Noooo.....don't mess with a Lightning. Them things are bad to the bone, I don't care if Ford did build them. That's what GM should be building instead of some of this crap they are turning out today. GM is too concerned with building Aztecs's. Can we all say, puke?

Sorry to hear this Dave. But we can't win them all. Time to add some more HP's to the SBC. 330 ain't going to cut it. Gears, converter and such will make her get up and go too.

A buddie of mine who has a 71 Blazer and a 01 Lightening ran his "L" (as he calls it) down the 1/4 at 12.9. Gotta respect that kind of power no matter who makes it lol. I think some of the stock guys are pulling mid to high 13's (here @ KCIR anyway)

Dave thats one bad ass looking truck you have!

I outran a Ford pickup, once.

Of course it was a crew cab 4wd diesel, and it was really close...

My truck is so slow.

Lightnings are badass, period. let me put on my flame proof suit, and then i'm going to admit something to you guys...

i'd love to own a Lightning. there, i said it. but i know i'll never be able to afford one, so i'm just going to stick to building my C10.
