World of Wheels Autorama in Kansas City Feb. 15-17
The World of Wheels Autorama will be at Bartle Hall in Kansas City, MO on February 15th-17th. I am putting a few of my 4-5-6 Chevy Trucks on display, in an effort to combat "Cabin Fever". If any of the Kansas City and surrounding area members make the event, feel free to stop by and say hi. I will have a 4-5-6 Chevy Truck banner on display at the show.
I like to hit the winter events because it helps get me back in the groove after enduring the sub-zero wind chills we get this time of the year. |

I couldn't agree with you more... nothing like an indoor car show to get the ball rolling for the up-n-coming '08 show season. We haven't finalized our plans yet, but we might head that way for the show. If we do we'll be sure to stop by. Do you ever make it to the Midwest All Truck Nats?

Re: World of Wheels Autorama in Kansas City Feb. 15-17
I won that '65 Chevy C60 tow truck on eBay and paid for it. After making a trip to Rochecster, NY to do a visual inspection, it turned out it was a lot rougher in person than what was indicated in the photos. It was going to cost me $1,800.00 to have it transported to my shop in Kansas City, KS, so I opted out of the deal. What a shame because it would have been a cool tow rig.

Tony i am very impressed with your shop and how neat and organized you have it, is this a full time bussiness or part time deal? to bad on the tow truck deal

Re: World of Wheels Autorama in Kansas City Feb. 15-17
Thanks for the vine. I am a commercial general contractor by trade. The 4-5-6 Chevy Truck concept has evolved over the past five years, as a hobby, however, it has taken on a life of it's own. It consumes a good deal of my free time and when I am between commercial construction projects.
Keeping things organized is a source of sanity and I have always been that way. I have more clarity when things are in their place. I make it a point to clean up my work area, no matter what time I finish, before shutting off the lights for the day. It is refreshing to come in the next time and see your progress, not the mess you left behind. It is a real morale booster. Thanks again for the kind words. |

Re: World of Wheels Autorama in Kansas City Feb. 15-17
Here a few shots of the show. I had a great time and met a lot of nice people and talked a lot of trucks. My '65 and '66 were the only 4-5-6 Chevy Trucks at the show, however, there were several '67-'72 Chevy trucks there. All of them were show stoppers, especially Joe's '68 Chevy C30 flatbed...what a beauty.

I checked out your trucks in there on Saturday, but didn't see you around. They looked good sitting there!

Thanks Revoh. I spent a lot of time there between Thursday and Sunday night. I was running around a lot, so sorry I missed you.
