LMC Chrome Rear Step Bumber-anyone have one
I picked up my new gas tank from the Fuelcell Guy and cant not wait to install it. However I want to either mount a trailer hitch receiver or rear step bumber at the same time. I will be stripping my frame again after all bolt holes have been drilled for powder coating. I like the looks of the LMC step bumber, this one will be a daily driver used to tow with. Does anyone have any experiance with one of these bumbers.

if i were you id do a factory bumper with a hidden hitch behind the licence plate
IMO stepbumpers never looked good on these trucks

Is the bumber the thing on the back of the truck in case you get bumped?I wouldn`t recommend using a bumper hitch.I believe LMC`s bumbers are FEY brand available all over, prolly local.

I agree with the hidden hitch would look better. I do not know if they are legal here, when the plate is down it is like no plate on the rear. With a small boat on the back no visible plate would be easy to spot.

I like the idea of the good ol' Chevy fold down plate. To add to that I would hire a High school FFA member to weld the reciever together. His class project and yours all in one. Remove pin and plate pops back up. I was gonna exit my exhaust there.
