Two Piece Driveshaft

I have a 72 Chevy C10 longbed. I am building it for drag racing. How durable is the two piece driveshaft. I am building it to run low 12's to high 11's. It will have a 500hp small block Chevy with a Turbo 350 trans. I will also be running slicks with 3.73 gears and a mini spool. Will the driveshaft hold up.

Re: Two Piece Driveshaft

It's good, but you'll need more than 500 ponies to get that truck that fast...

Re: Two Piece Driveshaft

The truck will be lightened up by about 800 to 1000 lbs. It is strictly for racing, it won't ever be on the street.
