Anyone even seen these?

Or maybe even used these? Just came across them, but I think they would bump the peak hp out of my range with such little back pressure.

I think purple hornies are flowtech brand.

They are the same as any other glasspack though.

I think they'd be nice IMO, might have trouble with a crossmember though.

yea, purple honies are flowtech, its what im putting on my truck, but those are just the same as any glasspack, my friend has them on his c30

do they sound good? really loud or not? and do they give enough backpressure to keep the peak power in the mid rpm range?

Yea, i would say they sounded good, and really loud, eh..kinda, it all depends on what u call loud, and backpressure and mid range power, i couldnt tell ya, i never drove or worked on that truck

I had some purple hornies with long tube headers. They actually sounded pretty authoritative and they had some deep rumble. Idle and cruise were moderately loud, and full throttle was LOUD. Reminded me of Smokey and the Bandit, except the twisting the motor to 7000RPM part...
