Grill emblems??? and other things
Where do I find those little plastic emblems that go in the grill of the late 70's Chevy/GM trucks that say "350." And where can I find some mud flaps that say "Minnesota, Land of 10,000 lakes."? They used to be all over the place now you can seem to find them. Also I need to find a "fit kit" to put a new (probably a Pioneer) radio into a 76 C20, anyone have any leads on where to find them?
In case the above doesn't make it obvious, there will be a Chevy sitting in my yard very shortly. PS the Ford is down river as of two nights ago. The truck I'm looking at is a camper special with the etched glass and the "fake" wood trim on the door panels. It occurred to me that I'm moving up in the world |

Re: Grill emblems??? and other things
Not all the '70s trucks had the engine size grill emblem. My '75 had the engine size on the grill, but the emblem was discontinued in '76. The newer grills don't even have a flat place to mount the badge.

Re: Grill emblems??? and other things
type chevy+nos in the ebay motors search. I found a nos 77-79 grille on there cheaper than it was at the dealership 15 years ago. As far as the radio, just cut the hole out to fit and you'll need a rod in the back to support the radio.. there should be one already on the old radio, just tweak it a bit and reuse it, that's what i did.
