Marker lights

What is the general preferance to side marker lights? I have always thought the base model ones were kinda ugly and leaned o the CST style.
However, i grabbed some of the newer smooth van ones and I kinda like them, actually thinking of installing them on the 'ole one ton.
Anyone have pics of the smooth van markers installed?
(I'm refering to these ones)

Talking

This truck has the ones you are asking about. Hopefully you can tell from the rear one, (flash from the camera caused the front one to reflect). They do look good!

I saw a post on one of the boards a few weeks ago where someone had used side lights from a Firebird. They had what looked like metal frames a fit flush in the fender. I think they fit with no mods but I may be wrong.

Yes I like the 85-96 Full size chevy van side markers. The light is dead center, and they illuminate much brighter. Also they are low profile and smooth looking. I've known they fit for years. But you really don't see to many 68-72 trucks with them.

These in the pic are the Van ones. With custom billet covers.
