Hey - we all started out dumb and curious, and this board is a great place to learn and help others. Back there somewhere I learned that the use of profanity is a sure indicator of weakness.

you didnt really offend me, but this sure wouldnt be a very encouraging stament to me if i were trying to do my homework before undertaking a project i had no experiance with.

like CCCC said, no matter how quickly anyone can learn or how long weve been wrenching we all started by asking simple questions. at least i did and i still appriciate the stuff i learned then.

You are correct. I was of no help. I apologize. I was wrong in saying what I did. We do this all the time and I offered no help. What is hard for someone else might be easy for us. I learned something tonight.

Re: Cab Removal ???

I also have noticed a little more, as of lately that some here have not been as helpful or courteous as we have been in the past. One of the main reasons I joined the board is I don’t like the BS that you find on other forums.
mbgmike, as being a sight vendor you could be offending a future customer “just food for thought”.
As long as I have been turning a wrench (longer then I dare to disclose) there have been are some things forgotten, to which, I once new well. Young and Classic alike, we here, all have a common bond, we come here to boast, show, share, and help one another with our trucks. Let' keep it that way.

Re: Cab Removal ???

Thanks for the help guys. This is my first project truck and I do not know a lot about these trucks. I use this site because it seems to a solid base of people with knowledge and willing to help. I ask this question to learn from the experience of others. I wanted to make sure I covered all the areas. Thanks again for the help.

Just make sure when you start to lift...check after you got it up an inch or two and make sure nothing is attached...and you will be fine.
