The bed is worth more than he is asking for the whole truck....

So is the frame... That is a steal, even if you don't want the cab.

Re: 1971 extended cab pickup for sale $300, Not Mine!!!!!

i dont see much value in a cut up longbed or the cab as far as the frame well long frames are very common to come by so unless somebody really is desperate for the front clip i dont see much value there

If I can get Livrat to go look at it, the cab would look good on my Big Block, Longhorn, 4X4 project. A little added length wouldn't hurt...lol WES

really? If I was looking to build an ext. cab I'm fairly certain that I could save a lot of money by picking up that project.

Frick, Frick, Frick! If only I had a way to get up to Seattle (200 miles) and drag this hulk home! An extended cab is exactly what I have planned for the LWB. Most of the hard work is done, so it appears. All I would have to do is swap out the door jamb for one out of a 'burb and finish the body work.

I don't need another project but if I was closer I would probably go look at it and would probably bring it home.

That truck isnt too far from me. I could easily just toss that in the barn with the rest of my stuff. I havent called on this or any of the other super sweet deals that have shown up lately. I just may be cured (finally) of dragging stray trucks home. Now maybe I can get something finished? ... Then again, thats pretty cheap...ugh.

That's a steal even if you just use the parts for other trucks.

I really like the proportions of this extended cab. The rear doors could stand to be a little wider, and if the front doors were suburban doors it would be my perfect idea of an extended cab 67-72 chevy.
