transfere case

i was thinking of rebuilding the case, made a groul in low lock last summer, but did have a broken trans mount, has anyone done one these, it has some seals leaking anyways, so i thought it might be wise do check the whole thing out before summer gets here, any input or posible manuals on rebuild would be appreciated, thanks scott

Replacing the seals is no big deal. Not sure about replacing internal parts.... I guess it depends on the growl. Every 4x4 vehicle I've owned makes a sigificant noise when in low lock. Kind of a whining/growling noise. If your broken tranny mount put the driveshafts in a bind on the transfercase, it will make it growl. I've done that one.

I have done several. Just make sure to pay attention to the order of disassembly. Not all that complicated.

Does anyone have a cut sheet of the transfer case. I am in the process of cleaning mine to paint and would like to disassemble so I can paint the cast area. I was a little weary of doing this but if it is easy to do I will attempt it with some documentation.
