Have a line on 5 or 6 85 blazer tanks, anyone need one

My local junk yard has 5 or 6 blazer and suburban tanks. He quoted me 100 for 1 with a sending unit. Not sure if anyone else might need one. I figure i can get a better deal if i get them all and pass it along to anyone that might be looking for a cheap one for a tank relocation.

Might be outa my place here or just a noob here, but might be helping a little. Hope its the latter

Re: Have a line on 5 or 6 85 blazer tanks, anyone need one

I am looking for one to put in my 70 Fleetside C10. If you could get it for a little less so maybe it was 100 with shipping i'd be VERY interested cause the new ones are around 200-225. I'm sure there are others on here ready to get the tank out behind the seats.

Re: Have a line on 5 or 6 85 blazer tanks, anyone need one

For everones information the 85 blazer tanks work perfectly, if at all possible get the crossmembers that the tank mounts into and the interior fill tube cover and with minor mods it looks like it was made to fit and a big plus is it is all GM and looks factory only glitch if you want to call it that is you will have a pass side fill. I have a bunch of pics I could send someone if you could post em if anybody is interested. BTW I found a place online that sells these tanks new for less than $100

This is kind of a rock/hard place for the moderators.....

You all should know that offering things "For Sale" by non-subscribers is against the rules....especially the subscribers (who seem to be encouraging this)
But now that there are nearly a dozen people wanting to get in on the deal....what are we supposed to do? If the post is deleted you just PM the original poster and nothing is any different. Posts like this should be reported to the staff....for removal when it is new.

It is as you say a difficult situation for the mods with that being said since this wasnt curtailed in the begining we are now at this point. It is never (on my part) an attempt to circumvent the fine vendors we have at our disposal ( I deal with several) however as any vendor will admit you buy from your most affordable source so I as many others here have a very limited amount of funds to work with and our American dollar keeps shrinking so we look for bargains when and where we can find them. Here is the link for the NEW tanks. My appologies to any vendor I may have offended.

That doesn't mean that it can't all still go-away. I really don't appreciate the "Oh, well" attitude.

It is not about offending the vendors, it's about violating the rules..and then trying to defend your position.

That is not a great excuse/reason either. Everyone should make it a point to know and follow the rules.

We as "staff" try to keep up with what is going on, but it is hard to see everything while it is still "new". A lot of times it does happen, most of the members here have no idea how many posts are moved/removed. This is what "report post" is for.
