Hey everybody:

Thanks

Re: Can this combination be used in my truck?

92? I believe that car is front wheel drive with the northstar engine. You might use the engine, but the trans, nope unless you want the first FED truck on this site

The only Caddy that year for rear wheel drive is the huge tuna boat (can't recall name) but that has the LT-1 and 4L60 I believe, and that can be transplanted.

Worth? Don't know but below a grand in my opinion.

If it's this car you should be able to, this is listed as a '92

That was the wrong image, try this:

I think it can be done. With enough money and parts and not being afraid to explore the possibilities. This place can help you out.

Just a taste of what can be done with plenty of money.

Get out and drive the truck this summer and have some fun!
It sucks not being able to hear!

LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB!
After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.

Re: Can this combination be used in my truck?

FWD was what I was concern about. If it is FWD, isn't the engine mounts differently? Then I can not use the engine either? Second, If I can use engine, what the use for tranny?I am not that mechanically experinced to do major fan work.

Re: Can this combination be used in my truck?

Few other things. Engine and tranny are out of the car therefore I can't what they came out of. Second, he says engine has only 60000 mile on it, third, he wants $700 fot the combo.

Re: Can this combination be used in my truck?

From my memory, for what it's worth That large car should have an LT-1 and a overdrive auto which is a decent combo and take a closer look at it.

If the engine says northstar on the valve covers you have a front wheel drive combo that would be not usable.

Someone else chime in here, is the northstar engine compatible with a Chevy trans? And does anyone sell mounts for this engine?
