Carrier bearing mount

The mount that the carrier bearing mounts to on my truck rotted out. Does anyone sell a replacement or do I have to hit the junk yard or make my own? Ed

Re: Carrier bearing mount

I have one from my 76 that I took off when I put a 1 piece in. Looks fairly simple to make though.

Re: Carrier bearing mount

There is not much left to mine to use as a template to make a new one, but I'll give it a shot. Ed

Re: Carrier bearing mount

ok, this is very crude, but it should help you out quite a bit. it is made of 1/8" steel plate. you would need to start out with a plate 14"x8" and make the bends, and drill the holes where needed. the holes that look similiar are exactly the same size, thats why only one is labeled. if you have any questions, shoot me a pm. oh, the elongated holes on the top are centered in the top part.
