Bench seats

What is the market like for stock bench seats? I'd think they are cheap, seems that most people want to upgrade them. What should I look to pay for one?

A good factory bench seat with nice original cover is rather hard to find. I have seen them for $300.00-$400.00 in good, original condition. I have also seen them, in good to average condition, needing reupholstering for a $100.00, but you need another $100-$300 for a replacement seat cover or upholstering at an interior shop.

Try posting in the Parts for Sale Forum for a good, used factory bench seat for a '60-'66 Chevy trucks and see what happens. Good luck with your search and welcome to the board from Kansas City, KS.

I have a nice one out of my '65 that I'd let go for $150, but shipping it from SC to WA would be expensive.

Here's the only one I have, I can get more this weekend. The truck came out of Texas and the underside if I remember correctly is rust free. When I got it it had one of those cheap indian blanket seat covers on it. I think one spring is broke on the driver's side but I'll know more when I take pictures.



If you're in no hurry for it, I could bring it as far as Asheville, NC in August. I could also leave it in Winston-Salem, NC if that's closer than Lexington, SC.
