carburetor

i have a 250 in-line 6 with a one barrell rochester on it, it wants to diseal when you shut the motor off. any suggestions.

It sounds like a timing issue...try very slightly rotating the distributor to get the desired idle. It could also be a carb tuning issue. There are many experts on this site that will get you squared away. Good luck getting your rig running smoothly.
