Thumbs up Gas Gauge..For The Record

Firstly my fuel gauge prob is fixed (halle-bloody-lujah) so thanks to everyone who helped.
And for reserch purposes if your gauge is reading an amount between empty and 1/2 full and you know for sure you got a full tank then it is most certainly an Ohms problem, fixed by either making sure you have a 90 Ohms sender unit in the tank (you could have bought a 30 Ohms by mistake) or by adding a Ceramic resistor of a higher value Ohms to the back of the gauge.

That thing must be a pain to drive on the wrong side of the road, and gas is much more over there than it is here isn't it? i feel we should not complain about gas prices until our gas is more expensive than yours is (comparing prices per litre for both)

i feel everyone should stop whining about the price of fuel all together.. ESPECIALLY if they drive a gas guzzler by choice.

UK taxes itself to death. The fuel costs nearly the same before the tax man has his way.

If a person needs a resistor where would he find one?

Well said. These other countries with sky high fuel prices are the doings of that countries high government taxes. They put a $4 a gallon tax on the fuel so you'll use public transportation. They don't want you driving.

First of all, if these trucks didn't look so good I would not be forced to drive one. That being said, is it ok to complain about the multi-million dollar bonus each execuative is getting every year?
