Radio delete question...

I took this out of my 68 GMC a few years ago and for the life of me I can't remember what held this thing in place. Did something break off? It's got the circles like something was on the backside but can't remember what it was.

Old age creeping up on my memory...

Re: Radio delete question...

The retaining clips look a lot like the grill clips that hold the chrome surrounds on the 67/68s in place. They twist into the slots under the back side of the cover, then twist further to lock over the radio opening behind the dash. I can post a pic, or you can just order a couple of them.

Re: Radio delete question...

Thanks guys.

WinDancer, if you have a pic available that would help. I'm not sure I remember what they look like.

Don't go out of your way, though. I can always order the clips like you said... Thanks.

Re: Radio delete question...

ttt

Okay guys. I need help 'cause my memory has gone south..

I removed my radio delete many years ago and I lost the clips that hold it in place. I don't remember what they looked like, either. So if anyone has a picture of what the clips look like it sho' would help.

I've got a lot of parts in the garage from my last move 10 years ago and they're probably in one of my boxes. Just need to know what I'm looking for.... Thnx.

Re: Radio delete question...

Thanks, sameyrasmea72... I sure appreciate the quick response and great pics. It's a cool Sunday here in Texas (70 deg) and Easter dinner is not for another hour. I'll start looking.

Thanks again.
