it was my bed and it has no dents on it. in the picture it had oxidation on it so it looked like it was a dent.as you can see from my other trucks i don't waste my time with stuff that is not so choice. i assure you that 72Ironmike got a choice bed .and i have to say that it was real cool to meet Mike and do business with him. a real class act. Re: Nice short fleet bed in Ca.
Well, It's not home yet but it is on the way. Will get better pics and post when it gets here.
Thanks to 55454 & HuggerCST in posting the craigslist ad to the board. Thanks to teeitup for suggesting uship.com as a possible shipper avenue $500 to ship with $6000 in automatic insurance. Can't wait to get this home. Last edited by 72ironmike; 03-24-2008 at 05:25 PM. |

Re: Nice short fleet bed in Ca.
Back at ya Tony, nothin better than a handshake/man of his word deal!
I know you had plenty of opportunity to sell that bed after we had spoken and it would have been easier for you as well. Thanks again. |

Re: Nice short fleet bed in Ca.
That is a great deal! The new repro parts have set the value of nice originals...higher, of course. There is a similar one listed for $2,500 in Maryland (?).
You could get that new from repro dealers for about $$2,500 w/the TG plus shipping...blink and you are into it $3,000. Still think it is overpriced? |
