Re: Engine Swap teaser pictures

you might have to relocate the return spring!
Those valve covers are bad ass! I wish I had the fundage for a set like that for the big block.
It looks pretty awesome all around. The only thing I would chainge, is to get rid of the flex fan.
Chicks don't dig it when the blades fly off and cut there way through the hood.
Even the stock ones suck.... GM did a recall in the 70's on this.

well it is a 350 with some goodies in it. The fan you see is from a 72 I parted out and used a bunch of parts to do this swap.

Re: Engine Swap teaser pictures

summit has a duel feed setup that looks good and doesnt cost much but you would be wise to invest in a nice gauge if you get one, that hose setup is a fire waiting to happen

Believe it or not it is from Holley. That is what comes on the Avenger carbs. I still want to change it out....

Re: Engine Swap teaser pictures

I bought some valve covers similiar to yours. Did you have some baffles put in? Mine came without them and I am wondering if I can do without them.

I bought the set you have and didnt use them because I didnt want to drill them for a PVC valve. I found the style that on my truck and they came with baffles. I can't wait to get them polished up a bit.

Re: Engine Swap teaser pictures

While a hose is not the best thing to use, that doesn't look unsafe... no more so than a splice for an inline fuel filter.

That is beautiful!!!

Re: Engine Swap teaser pictures

it's hard to go wrong with a clutch fan. HD cooling, yet freewheeling economy when the wind isn't needed.
