4 speed to a 700r
I know there is a thread on here that deals with this swap. I have a 1970 k10 with a granny 4 speed. I have a 700r and a doner 67 c10 auto. I know I can't get everything I need from my parts truck but I need some idea of what I need overall and a hint on how to install. Thanks

Drop off your 700r4 and Advanced Adapters output shaft at the transmission shop. Tell them you want it rebuilt, leave the tail off, and put in the AA output shaft. Take the engine out. Remove the tranny, adapter, xfer case. Bolt 700r4, 205 to th350 adapter, and NP205 together. Install above assembly in truck. Move engine cradle forward almost 2 inches. Re-install engine. Drive truck. If you don't already have a NP205 I'm not sure what you're going to need to do about the crossmember and drive shafts.

How do I identify what transfer case I have? I have the auto tranny radiator and a trans cooler.

The 700R I have came with a transfercase on it can I use that or do I want to use the one in my truck? I have to check to see if they are the same.
Thanks for the help everyone. I will take pics when I start tearing her down.
