Post your dually, C30 or campers.

I just bought a 1970 Chevrolet Custom Camper 30 and need some ideas. Whether you have one saved on your hard drive or it's your own truck, let's see some 67-72 Chevy or GMC one tons, C30s, duallys and motorhomes.

Here is mine:

Re: Post your dually, C30 or campers.

If I posted all the the 1 ton pics I have on file, I'd have to lay out out of work today, so I will post the thread below since it has most of them in it. There are few other years mixed in, but there are 20+ pages of 67-72 C30's on it.

Here's is my '67 C30 dually project pickup project and my C-30 ramp truck.

Please do.I lost my file with my latest computer problem.I so much in so many categories it makes me sick to think about it.Reminds me of when a divorced girlfriend let her mom wear her diamond ring.Mom went boating on the Chesapeake and the ring fell off into the water...ploink...gone like a worthless pebble.

Re: Post your dually, C30 or campers.

Yukon Jack, have you got any more information on the conversion he did. Did he use a dana 44 or dana 60 front diff? Also is he using the original rear end? I was originally looking for a 4x4 dually, but they are so hard to find since they were never produced in 67-72. That is an awesome looking truck!

Re: Post your dually, C30 or campers.

He is using a Dana 44 right now but has a Dana 60 front axle ready to swap in when he gets some ellusive "free time".

His rear axle is a Dana 60 that I believe was from a donor vehicle, maybe a 1971 or 1972. Unless I'm wrong, there were cab and chassis 2wd dually trucks of our era.

His current gear ratio is 4.10.

You can see more pics and info here.
