at home seat covers
So the seat covers that lmc sells are they worth it? good quality? I am going to be getting a set of 73' buckets for my blazer. They need redone though there all ripped up. So i was looking at the black velour covers in lmc. Would you guys recomend them? or should i just take them to a local upholstry shop and have some made and installed?
Also if i do the at home stuff, where can i find a new cover for a 3rd row seat out of an 87 burb? lmc just lists the front seat?

i dont know about the chevy truck ones, but a friend of mine redid his 71 bronco bucket seats with lmc cover and they turned out really well

I'd just make sure the foam is up to new covers. It's always to bad when someone goes to all the work of recovering and the covers end up looking "loose".

chevroletrestorationworld.com has seat covers for alot less than LMC. Maybe someone knows if they're the same or if the quality is different. It seems most retailers get thier restoration parts from the same source. I too was debating whether to get new covers or have my seats custom covered.

just letting you know that the 73 buckets are not the same as 72 buckets so the covers are different.

Im not looking to replicate the 72 look, just wanting to know if the stock replacements fit well or are junk

I have had good luck with the LMC ones...........Ive done 3 or 4 of them and have been very pleased

Got my 71's buckets and rear bench covers from GMC Pauls.They fit great.

does anyone have experiance with the chevy restoration world 69-70 aqua seat covers? im wondering if its the right color for my medium green 71 K10, they dont have pictures on thier website.
