need instalation help!
have any of you guys ever ordered the 4 inch peep mirrors off ebay? i ordered a set in feb. mine came in a box, glass not inside the mirror, i spent hours trying to get the mirror to sit into place then put this little plastic ring around there to hold it in and i couldnt get the ring all the way in and the mirror still rattled and fell out so being very up set wit hte product i emailed the company i got them from and got no responce... twice. this pissed me off even more. i come home from work yesterday to find they had sent me two more mirrors. no apology note or nothing just shipped out two mirrors. well low and behold im having the same problem with these ones i had with the other pair.... have u guys ever ran into this on these mirrors?

Re: need instalation help!
Mine came assembled guess I got lucky. I would have been upset. Imagine you could take them to a glass shop, shouldn't be too expensive. Good to know though to ask if the glass mirrors are installed when ordering thru ebay. By the way I can't see much of anything thru mine even after adjusting them for an hr. But they look good.

Re: need instalation help!
Give up and order a set from Mooneye's or Speedway. Chalk another one up for shady eBay vendors.

Did they come from a place in Az.? If so, walk away & order more. That guy is a rip off artist. Did you cut that trim piece off?

Re: need instalation help!
He owns a business,
Arrowhead Truck Parts 8662 N. 78th Ave Peoria, AZ 85345 shop phone number is (800) 821-9291, the quality on the mirror housings isnt bad for the 40 bucks i paid for em. just pisses me off he wouldnt get back to me to make it right and just sends another pair of the same mirrors to agravate me at trying to get them installed even more. from reading corn's thread it sounds like he screws people all the time so buyers please beware! |

Re: need instalation help!
Mine came assembled.....never saw any like that that weren't "broke". My take on this is that the eBay vendor doesn't reply because he/she knows what they did and don't care.
I have one experience with eBay and it was no better. I will NOT do business with anyone on eBay.

Re: need instalation help!
Mirrors that you have to assemble...thats not right, just use the silicone to secure the glass and stop it rattleing as was sugested use them for a while so you feel like you've got your moneys worth out of them then get a better set...that you don't have to build.
