Re: Pics of Blazers with painted tops...
I have a smoothed single wall that was painted black from white and man does the smoothed look show the ripples in the fiberglass! I am using this top for my restoration but considering re-texturing, then the new color. smoothing showes every fault so stay with the textured look if you want simple and look good. OR if some of the guys out there have info on smoothing and making the top look good have counters, I would be interested as well!! I'm a long way from that stage but hey.....

This is mine, but I wish the top was white. Hopefully soon it will be.

Re: Pics of Blazers with painted tops...
I know you said any color, but you didn't say whether you wanted it to be a good paint job - so with that being said, I can post mine with the PO's crappy (and I do mean crappy) paint job.
Personally I would like to have some contrast between the K5 and the top. If the K5 were white like the one above, I think it looks great with a white top, and if it were black I think a black top is great, but for most other colors I think I would lean towards a different color for the top. To me, the different color would emphasize that the top is separate and can come off which is such a cool part of K5 ownership

Re: Pics of Blazers with painted tops...
I think they look better with a contrasting top, but that’s just me.
