I just took my 4x4 to the blaster and it looks like I may need a set of front hangers for the rear leaf springs of my 72 1/2 ton 4x4. These are the pieces that rivet to the frame and typically rust (at least around here) If anyone has a set shoot me a Pm or reply in post and I will get back to you- I know that 2wd models are not the same so they will not work.

i have a complete set of rear spring hangers from a 84 suburban 4x4 if they'll work for you. i'll go out and compare them to the ones on one of my 72 4x4s. i just cut these off the frame last weekend and they aren't rusted at all.

sorry they won't work, they look identical but would make the spring eye stick out about 3/4 inch farther from the frame than 69-72s. i guess that makes sense, 73 and up trucks have spring pads with wider spacing than 69-72s.

I appreciate the time and thought Jerry. Anyone else? I don't want these hangers to slow the guy down he is really gungho and I would like to keep him that way if possible

I have a set on my old '69 4x4 frame. I'll have to check the condition of them when I get home this afternoon. If my memory serves me right I'm pretty sure they're in good shape. I'll let you know later today if that's ok.

I am positive I have a set at the shop.. will grab them and get you some pictures this evening..
FYI.. They need to be off of either a 71 or 72.. the 68-70 ones are shorter
