Re: The World's Only 1969 GMC 2500!!!

I`m saying I still think it`s a shortened 3/4t frame.By splice I mean a place where the frame was welded together after shortening.I just doublt it`s a shortbed frame that someone lengthened the rear rails on to accept a longbed that was shortened in frint of the wheels and not in the back then mounted a 3/4t cab andused that VIN-plate.
Is there no weld in the rails in front of the rear wheels and behind the cab?

what special k is saying is, he think the 3/4 t frame was cut down to 115" and then they ONLY sections the front of the bed, so the rear was lengthened?

seems like a wierd thing to do, but it aslo seems wierd to lengthen a SWB frame

I'm not even going to bother myself with that. If the frame is shot, I'll just get another one. But I do appreciate the help you all are giving me!
