pulled the 1" spacers out (putting them in jkaylor68gmc's 68 ), didn't really change the stance that much at all. Fenderwell gap matches all around now.I'll post updated pics in the morning. Just gotta get the front aligned now and it is CRUISIN TIME IN TENNESSEE !!!!! Goodguys here we come !!

Re: Finally !!!!

took the 1" block out of the rear to get tire/fender gap to match. Didn't change much.

Re: Finally !!!!

IMO... I personally like the look of one wheel size all the way around. Not only for looks but to practicality too, like rotating tires, or having one spare around..... but as long as your happy thats what counts. I like the wheels and the satin/flat finish on the spokes

I agree about rotating and stuff, but staggered wheels looks cool on a dropped 2wd, but on a 4x4 it would look dumb, plus you get better mileage on them being able to rotate them to the front and back

Re: Finally !!!!

Couldn't rotate the others ( 285/70/15 on rear and 255/70/15 on front ). I may average about 3000 miles a year, so these won't wear out anytime soon ( hopefully ). I like the look, was kinda after the Pro Touring look. Drives and rides really good ( drop spindles are the way to go !!. Drop springs in the front are OK, but don't compare to the spindles and stock geometry. Got all my door components out and hope to hang new doors this weekend.

Re: Finally !!!!

71HULK, I Like the look, was going after the Pro Touring Look. I think it turned out killer !!!! I was looking at an old issue of Classic Trucks and I have the same stance as Rodney Grimes' black 68, so I am HAPPY !!!!
