It has a 750 performer carb. Do you think that is to big. It is wierd how the truck changed its manners in a snap.

No. There are to many variables that could cause your problem. If I could hear it, I could tell you more about it -sorry.

Vacuum leak?

Vac adv line hooked up to the correct port?

Mech adv sticking?

Loss of fuel pressure (filter, pump)?

Overheating?

I was messing with my truck again today re-setting the timming and noticed that the contacts inside of the dist. cap have like flash burn marks on them are they supposed to be like that because the cap and rotor along with dizzy are brand new.Maybe this is causing bogg/power loss?
