Anyone near Hagerstown MD 21740?

Hey just wanted to throw this out there to see if any board members live nearby? I live in Hagerstown MD 21740 Its NW Maryland about one hour west of Baltimore right below the PA border.

I-81 & I-70 or US11 & US40 for the two laners.I`m in Mt.Airy and get around.My good friend is in Boonesboro and my sister is in Wolfsville.I go out to Berkley Springs to another buddy`s place.I gotmarried at Washington Monument State Park.

Yup right in Hagerstown, about 1 minute from both 70 and 81

There are two really cool cruise ins here in Hagerstown EVERY Sat April thru October, Every Sat from 5-9pm about 200 cars and trucks.
They alternate this past Sat was at the Valley mall right off 81 exit 5
This Sat is at Long meadow Shopping center

I`ve heard about the cruise-ins but never knew the details,thanks!!I`ll get up there and maybe we can meet up.Are you at Midway or off 40?
I haven`t been spending as much time around there as I used to.But,I`m familiar with the area.I`ve lived near Burkittsville and right by Deil`s Backbone Park along Antietam (sp?) Creek.I started going to Elwood`s in the`70s.I know you know about that.
I like that area.

Yup Elwoods is a great junk yard to crawl around in. I was acctually thinking of going there sometime this week to look for parts for my truck and to also take some pictures and post them here on the message boards.

I live right near 81 off exit 5 Im about a 2 minute drive from the Valley Mall cruise in.
If you decide to come up one weekend let me know. My truck will probally be torn down and on jack stands by then but I can take my Camaro there.

PS I see you are a carpenter, Im a big do it yourself guy when it comes to home remoldeling so I might pick your brain from time to time on some up coming projects if you dont mind.
