My '08 Silverado
Hi folks...Just joined your site tonight (see intro) and thought Id post a couple quick pics of my daily driver. Its an 08 Silverado 1500 extended cab 4x4 with a 5.3 and 3:73 posi with towing package. Ive added wheels, push bar, nerf bars, Cherry bomb cat backs, and blacked out all the lettering for starters.....got a few other things planned but nothing major. Dont plan on doing the leveling thing since I like the way it sits just like it is (I may be the only one judging by all the leveling kits for sale on Ebay!). I dont do any off roading so the ride height is a non issue for me. Hope you like what you see! I get some odd comments about it being all blacked out, but, hey, I like it and thats what counts the most!!!
The day I brought it home...(notice I already had the cat backs installed!) After a few bolt on modifications............... |

Re: My '08 Silverado
Beautiful truck Zeek, I almost traded my 05 Silverado SS for a new Denali last week but I hate the never ending payment cycle I've been in so I'll keep it. I love the all black and a little chrome.

Re: My '08 Silverado
Hey Zeek, Your truck looks real sweet. The black-out theme works! I'm curious about your aftermarket wheels. Did your truck come with the tire pressure monitoring system? If so, did you install new sensors in those new wheels?

Re: My '08 Silverado
Wow...didnt realize how long its been since my last visit! Yes, my truck came with the tire press. sensors. I bought the wheels online but when I took them to my local guy to install them he had never removed the sensors before and really didnt want to do it. But I told him if he breaks one, no problem....but we both worked to gether and had no problem removing them from the stock wheels. You just have to becarful when you push them out that you dont damage the tube. Putting them into the new wheels was even easier. Ive had them installed for several months now and no problems!
