Great project,cool truck. I forgot how good those old beasts look, thanks for bringing back the memories. More pics as you get to move it. I can just imagine how much work is involved that project, have fun. J.

Is that the same size cab as the pickups??

From everything I've read, yes. It just sits higher on the frame.

The doors look about the same, but have the front lower corner cut off to clear the C50 style fender. When I get ready to do this, I will pull out the interior of this truck and do a true assessment on it.

Transmission and 1st t-case are sitting in my garage. It's a SM465 with a NP203. The 203 will be cut down to just the low range box and I'll add a 205 behind it.

I also have the motor, a 427 Tall Deck.

I think I found the second t-case for it:



On Pirate's they (JB Conversions, LoMax) advertise these for big trucks

I wonder if they meant THIS big?

C50 would be 2 TON 10 = 1/2 TON 20 =3/4 TON 30 = 1 TON 40 =1.5 TON 50 = 2 TON
