Re: fenders
They are different and will not work, sorry. I have a 1972 Jimmy that the previous owner had installed a chevy fender on the passenger side and it was noticable.
68-72 GMC and 68 chevy are the same 69-72 chevy are all the same. Is that fender rust free? |

Re: fenders
i understand that the a chevy fender wont work on gmc but it seems to me that a gmc fender might work on a chevy because the part that is differnt will be hidden by the grill.

Re: fenders
Here are pictures of the two fender types. The one with the groove/recess is the Chevy fender, the recess is where the grill would recess into. The fender without the groove/recess is the GMC fender which should be like the one you have.
I sent you a PM also. |

Hoods on GMCs fit 67-68 chevy's too, except that you have holes to fill in from the "GMC" letters...... hard to see but here is my 68 fender...trim is on the eyebrows though

Re: fenders
with the exception of hose for the badging... hoods are the same GMC or chevy.
67 and 68, interchainge fine. 69 - 72 interchainge fine. 67/68 does NOT fit on a 69 - 72 |
