Ebay.. Deal??? Iowa..
Hi,
I don't normally like the posts of ebay/craigslist finds, but I was just checking on a bid and went over to check out the C10's that are listed and found this. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/70-C-...m360048667704& I looked at the photos and it's a nice looking truck but I can't figure out why it's listed so cheap. There are a few dings here and there and looking at the photos, it's a classic car type of dealership so that really makes me think something is up. Anyway, Iowa members should go check this out in person and toss the cash down if it's as decent as the photos make it seem.

Pics do look nice! I wonder how the motor, interior and underside look?. Pics can be deceiving but that does look good

Looks pretty good to me. I'm never crazy about buying these trucks from a dealer like that, though.

It does seem to be priced under what a dealership like that would sell it for....I wonder what is wrong with it that the pictures don't show.

I noticed there were no pictures of the "Excellent" motor or Transmission.It does look like a lot of truck for the $$$ but it may be a bondo queen.I've seen beaters with a price tag close to that.

Why does the E-Bay "Buy It Now" price of $7,997.00 not match the "Buy It Now" price listed in the description of $8,997.00? I don't think at roughly $9,000 the truck is that big of a deal, and I have a feeling the dealer won't let it go for much less than that.

Looks to me like someone laid some decent paint over some problems. Definately NOT worth 9k or even 8k for that matter. Tailgate and passenger side have issues, can't see the engine, longbed. Looks like a decent truck for around 4K maybe. I guess it'll be worth more to someone, who will then turn around and put it on ebay for half what they paid + being a grand or so into it fixing what they couldn't see....
