How to lower my 69 3/4 ton

Im broke but I want to lower my truck. Im looking for some Ideas on lowering my truck front and rear with a more level stance. I can get some thicker 1 ton springs for the front and chop them but what about the back with those trailing arms. Please help. im looking for maybe 3 inches in the front and 6-7 inches in the back. Also Does anyone know from trial and error how much to cut off the front 1 ton springs for a 3 inch drop?

why get stiffer springs? Just cut the ones you have now.

Or you can just get lowering springs from any vendor. 1/2 ton and 3/4 ton springs interchainge. As a mattor of fact, 1/2 tons could be had with HD springs... which were nothing more than 3/4 ton springs.

I cut the springs on my 67 using the stock springs and it was the worst bouncy ride ever, we switched to the HD 1 tons and it rode alot better! But im looking for any and all critism on the subject so thank you! have a clue on how much I should chop for a 3 in drop? heres a pic of my 67 after we dropped it with the 1 tons

GMC Pauls has lowering springs for 3/4 ton trucks, also Performance Online has lowering spindles for 3/4 ton trucks. You can cut your springs in the front, but out back your kind of out of luck without spending a little $$$.

Here's the options you have available:

Heat the springs

Cut the springs

Purchase lowering springs
