easy question about 4X4
Is the suspension (leaf springs) the same on a 73-newer truck and blazer as the 72 models? I'm new at this 4x4 stuff!!

I think some of them will fit; I put later model springs on my 71 Blazer...I just measured the springs from end to end and of course the width. Worked good; stiffened up the rear just want I wanted...had a couple more leafs, though.

I heard the 73 and newer front springs were longer, the longer the springs the smoother the ride , and i think that's why GM did that, to improve the ride. But I'm not positive.

The 72 front springs are 2 1/2 inches wide and the 73 up are 3 inches wide. We measured the differences between a buddies 72 and another buddies 77.
