Beating the GMC/Chevy fender thing to death.
OK, OK, I know it's been beat to death, and I did a search, seen Longhorns writeup in FAQ's, ect, ect... But I have one thing to clear up before I drop precious coin on new steel. If I keep my 72 GMC hood and grill, will 67 fenders fit?
And while I'm here, let's say I find a hood grill for a 67-68 GMC. Will that fit my core support? Sorry for the redundance, but that's why you guys rock!

The 67 fenders are nearly the same as your 72 GMC fenders, the only difference is the marker light.
I don't think the 67-68 hood will work with your 72 core support, but you may be able to modify the core support to work. I am sure someone will chime in that knows for sure.

Yeah, I'm going with the 67's to get rid of the marker light. That's about the only reason. Welding sheetmetal is not my forte!
