Big Block smog pump and hoses pictures

Hi guys,
I've had some people ask about what the correct smog pump layout looks like for a 1972 402. So I'm posting these for anyone interested to see. These parts are not for sale, as I live in sunny CA with the smog nazis and I can pretty much guarantee they'll be requiring our trucks to have all the original smog items any day now. Actually that isn't very funny.

Enjoy!!

Never seen one before here in Texas.

That AC compressor looks like it might get you in some trouble though. I'm surprized they havn't FORCED you convert to 183 on the AC. LOL

Actually, you will never have to smog your truck. Pre-76 cars and trucks will continue to have to be smogged indefinitely now.

Wow. If i remeber right, its only 85 and up that have to have anything on them here in texas.

Sucks to live out there in Cali for that reason.

My father and I were talking about that not too long ago, that the custom car culture out there may just be because of the smog laws, get and old one thats cool, and you don't have to worry about it. But I'm not familiar with Cali law.
