Need troubleshoot
Im driving down the road at 70 mph with my cruise on in my 87 SWB with the factory 350. It dies and I coast over to the shoulder and it cranks right up and Im good again. I get my 400 small block installed and Im driving again, it happens again. Fuel, power, ???? Help.

Re: Need troubleshoot
you left out some info. does it only happen when using cruise. does it only do it when its hot out or after vehicle has warmed up. and what did you reuse on new motor i.e. distributor, computer, any electronics?any thing funny happen before it dies backfiring, starving for fuel, guages going crazy?

Re: Need troubleshoot
I'd also suspect a loose wire causing the ignition to stop working. My old HD did that right after I built it. Now I blue Locktite the electrics too...
