drop member with small trans hump ?

can i use the nate drop member with a small trans hump cover in my 72 cheyenee longwheel base 2wd? i was told i would have to change the hump to a large. man the truck is done i just want to go lower hate to pull it apart.

Yes, the hump is required. It would not be that big a deal to do it IMO. Just pull the carpet, cut out the low hump, bolt in the high-hump, and reinstall new carpet.

No. The carpet is different for the large hump.

As mentioned, the "large hump" is a necessity. New carpet will most likely need to be installed.

hey nate, i was wondering if you have to notch the cab in the rear with the drop member in a long 72 with a two piece drive line.

You should not have to tunnel into the cab floor with a 2 piece drive-shaft.
