tilt column
Not sure where to post this so I'll start here. I need to know if a tilt column out of a '76 or '77 K5 will fit in my '83 4x4 doolly? I know there is tilt column specialist out there that can help me out. Thanks.

Re: tilt column
Should fit just fine. Might be wiring differences based upon the wiper locations, headlight controls, etc. but, not hard to figure out.

Re: tilt column
Yeah,it will physically fit.You won`t have the wiper/light controls on the column since they were in the dash in 76/77.You could sawp the dash and move wires to 76/77switches.It would sure be easier to just find a later column. There`s plenty around and not too expensive.Unless it`s a floor shift.
