Hello from Norway

I was on vacation in California for 3 1/2 week in april. I did completly fell in love with an orange C10 parked outside Delillo Chevrolet in Huntington Beach.
I told my wife that if I ever came across an unmolestet, rustfree, stepside -Ill buy it right away. Well -belive it or not, this car was up for sale here in Norway, and five days after we got home -IT WAS MINE
I'm 45 years old (mental age is much lower:-) ). I really like american cars.
The car I bought is a '69 Plane Jane, Light green stepside. It has a 3-spd manual trans, and an inline six. Drum brake front and rear. Plans... I did contact ece, to buy disc brakes f+r, drop spindles and springs, quick ratio power steering and a hidden hitch. Hope the will reply on my request.
I look foreward to explore the forum, lots of skilled members!

Re: Hello from Norway

First off, welcome. A little suggestion, when ordering parts, you should try calling the vendor, especially ECE. I know this might seen a little expensive from overseas, but when I lived in Germany, I used Skype all of the time, and it worked great and it was real cheap (about .02 USD/min). Good luck with the truck, and lets see some pics!
