Rubber floor mat. Anyone used Brothers(pics)

Floor mat? Or similar. I'm thinking of buying one and need to find out if the fit was ok...

Here's a pic of one of them...

Or this one. (the one I'm thinking of purchasing) It is molded vinyl with jute felt underneath...

Here's the first one. ($89.99)
http://www.brotherstrucks.com/prodin...number=FMT6000

The second is considerably more ($149.99) but it's got the padding and looks like it might be a good one to replace the original one I had. I'd like to go with carpeting, but for right now, being in the country with lots of dirt and mud I think a rubber mat like the original will be better.

I got one on sale from them for a high hump and didn't have any problems - it fit fine.

Re: Rubber floor mat. Has anyone used Brother's

I my self installed two of the mats in different trucks. Not necessary bought from brothers but found the one with the jute backing being the best looks. Saving the extra work of lining the floor with something. MHO.

who else has the ones with the backing attached?
I like the looks of the second one from brothers. It looks like it covers from gas tank to under the dash. I just wonder how well it fits.

I got the 1/8" MIP(Molded Industrial Polyvinyl) floormat from LMC. It fits pretty well and is real tough.

I had this on my old Blazer - got it that way from the PO. I was hoping to cover my current floor with a new mat, but thanks for reminding me about the spray in liner. I'll probably do that instead.

Re: Rubber floor mat. Has anyone used Brother's

I highly recommend that you dont get the one from LMC as I installed it in my truck and it looked great but within a year of daily driving the heal of my right foot wore a hole into it......funny how it took like 20yrs to wear a hole in the original.....

Re: Rubber floor mat. Has anyone used Brother's

Ok guys I took the plunge and got the vinyl one from brothers. Everything went smooth, it is a very good fit in my opinion. The covering actually was drop shipped from ACC. It does not however come with the jute backing attached to the vinyl like it says on their web site but I think its better that way, easier to fit anyway. I was not impressed with the jute however, does not seem worth the money. It's cut small, only covers the footwells and hump and them does not even cover them very well. The vinyl gets two thumbs up from me but you could save yourself some money and order the cover from ACC with out the jute.

hints- this vinyl is very thick and stiff, work with it on a nice warm day and leave it in the sun for 30 min. or so, so it will be a a lot more flexible. A good sharp utility knife is what I used to trim it to fit. Overall I would buy one of these again if needed.
