sas silverado
i have a 2000 new body style chevy 1500 2wd has anyone seen a kit or seen info on swapping in a solid axle i have looked and looked ?

I believe Off Road Unlimited (ORU) has one.

i did a sas on a 97 crew cab 2wd to 4wd also you can use a 1/2 ton older ford set up with the coil springs and radius arms

I typed in ORU`s address,then realized this truck is a 2wd.Fabtec makes 2wd lifts but I don`t know of a straight axle conversion.

Oh ok.I glanced it over and must have missed it.I didn`t think there was such a kit,either.I did notice what they listed was either 88-98 or 01-07 HDs.Like they forgot about the 99-00s.It`s funny.When I bought my`92 K3500 I was peeved that all there was were lifts for wimpy 1/2 tons and nothing for the 8-luggers.Things have evolved a bit since then.
