Re: 1969 longhorn chassis with 68 cab etc...

the chassis is a 3/4 ton long horn wth a 14 bolt corporate locker rear end....real clean frame from florida...two extra hole drilled in it other than factory....perfect front and rear suspension........has what looks to me a late tilt column (dont know where from) ac dash that has ben cut for aftermarket stereo....doors are rusty but there....good cowl panel, grill is dented but usable.....drivers fender useable....cab is a write off i think......bed is real rough......i figured the longhorn suspension and frame was worth not scrapping the truck......has green headliner with black trim....good brakes and power steering gear box.....core support is great condition ac box is there.....control panel is there dont know if it is good or not.....guages have aftermarkets in them....wing windows decent.....hood is driver quality at best ...straight but some holes.....good drivers inner fender...let me know what you need but like i said i really just wanna get rid of the whole unit ....

Re: 1969 longhorn chassis with 68 cab etc...

hate to say it... that's what happens to a LOT of them. Just not enough interest in an odd ball longhorn. I got a complete rolling chassis with disks up front and 4.10 eaton rear, very nice bed, and still had the nuked engine and water filled tranny all given to me, the guy even loaded it all up for me and tied it down. He just wanted it out of his yard.

Any idea what the tilt may be out of? How good is the headliner? Is the cargo light nice? Eric

Re: 1969 longhorn chassis with 68 cab etc...

the headliner is decent and the trims is good maybe one ding in it....id describe as driver quality...the cargo light is all there but ill have the check the chrome and lense for you....the tilt must be a newer unit as the tumbler for the lock cylinder is on the column (no lock cylinder since the chevy's ignition is on the dash)....tilts fine and looks good...has a gmc two spoke steering wheel on it......ill let it go for 50 bucks if youre interested ..the other stuff (healiner and cargo light) 15 bux all together...

Re: 1969 longhorn chassis with 68 cab etc...

the trim on the headliner is good....all black....and the ehadliner itself look like it will clean up ...no tears decent......the cargo light is pitted so i dont think you'd want it but if you paid the shipping id just throw it in there....

What condition is the bed in?

Can you measure from the back of the cab to the centerline on the axle?
