floor shifter??

Hey all. I am going to be getting a 700r4 soon and was wanting to change from a column shift to a floor shift. What have you guys used and how is the fit. Pics and/or tips would be great.

Thanks

I just bought a Lokar 700r4 floor mount shifter for the '70 but I don't have it installed yet. I looks really good... 67ChevyRedneck has one in his truck.

Here are a couple of threads on the subject....

Re: floor shifter??

B&M Megashifter. They have a light truck model that's a good height for our trucks. I recently installed one and like it.

Re: floor shifter??

fnoblitt - where'd you get the shifter boot? Stock app from somewhere or did you have someone make it?

Edit - Cool, thanks!

Re: floor shifter??

Here's mine, it was a floor model until I got a hold of it.

Don't worry fellas. The seats will get re-covered soon. I kinda blew my budget, and they'll have to wait, just a little while. I'm sure I won't be able to get rid of those cheapie seat covers soon enough.
