I bought mine this way already becuase I didn't know there was a "kit".
Anyway, I love it and is very effective at night.

Re: Ever used these guage overlays?
Those look pretty sharp! I need to replace my faded needles as well, wonder if they carry those too...

Re: Ever used these guage overlays?
Bright orange model paint and a cheap brush for the needles.

Re: Ever used these guage overlays?
You can get the chevy orange paint [testors] in the model section and get a very fine brush to perform the work with on the needles - turns out great - very easy to do.

Re: Ever used these guage overlays?
I did mine with white Rustoleum. I think it turned out pretty good considering the cost was ~ $5. However, your truck looks to be much nicer than mine so you may be looking for something a little more upscale.

Re: Ever used these guage overlays?
I think it was $30 plus $1 for white spray paint for the tin and screws and some orange nail polish for the needles. I also bought blue led lights for the cluster. It looks amazing at night! The kit is good quality and easy to install. I would post up some nightime pictures but I have it disassembled for paint right now.

Re: Ever used these guage overlays?
I've had them on my last 3 trucks, and befor ethey were making them, i was spraying my guage faces white.
I think it looks awesome, and the product is awesome. The quality is fairly high. The lines could be a bit sharper, but for the price, I refuse to actually complain... that's just more of a comment. <--- my burb |

Re: Ever used these guage overlays?
Hey lyrikz,
I bought the kit from that site....I believe it was $20 plus shipping of $5....they shipped it quick!!...i think it took maybe 3 days to get it, although the site said it may take longer....I have a 3-hole gauge so I didn't use the small gauge stuff if you want it....I can mail it to you....
