Re: Evolution of our trucks...
Reading the first of this thread, many thoughts came to mind why this is the only site i have bookmarked at home and at work. After reading the entire thread, all those thoughts have already been mentioned. Being a member that mostly lurks in shadows i dont have much more to add to this thread other than i completely agree with everyone......and.....i have been thinking for a long time that the members need away of recognizing each others rides outside of this forum. i know i probably see some members riding around town (atl area) but you always wonder if the owner of a C-10 is a member. it would be cool if we had some sort of decal that we can place in the window of our trucks that will be easily recognizable to other members.
maybe its a stupid idea but i thought i would throw it out there. anyways, i owe alot of thanks to alot of people here and i appreciate what this forum provides to C/K-10 owners. we will keep these trucks alive. |

Re: Evolution of our trucks...
This site has been great for all the unanswered question that wouldnt have been answered by anywhere else. I would have never believed that a 73 to 87 front engine cradle and suspension would have fit under a 67 to 72. I dont believe I would have tried it. But you guy here that have tried it gave me the info of what to do and I did it! also got the P/S box and pump too. As far as me doing a frame off without this site...I have done it before. But the ideas of what others here have done to their truck...and technics used...I have applied to my truck.
